Proxy Access
Students Maintain Access to Their Records
How to Become a Proxy
Students control who views the information in their student records—known as proxies—and what they can see. By granting Proxy Access, students provide parents, guardians, or others access to the elements of their records they select to share. It allows others to see financial aid awards and pay bills on a student’s behalf, for example.
Students must initiate the Proxy Access procedure. It can be updated or removed at any time.
Software Upgrade and Proxy Access
Summer 2025: Following the recent upgrade of MyHeliotrope (Banner), student records will no longer be viewable by those previously granted Proxy Access. All proxy profile information remains in the system, however students must reassign access to the segments of their record they choose to share.
Proxy Instructions
View designated student information using personal email addresses following activation.
Access is limited to authorized records only and does not grant additional rights to discuss other aspects of the student record not explicitly authorized (attendance, disciplinary issues, etc).
