Metro-North Commuter Rail

Although not formerly a part of the Bee-Line or Westchester County transportation system, the Metro-North Railroad provides access to New York City and points north via the Harlem line running through White Plains and to Connecticut via the New Haven line through Port Chester.

Both the Bee-Line #12 route and the White Plains Loop provide direct access to the transit center in White Plains, and the Port Chester Loop services the Metro-North Port Chester station.

From White Plains, New York City’s Grand Central Station is a 35-40-minute ride on the Harlem line.
