Career Counseling
Career Counselors work with students to help them investigate career options and develop job search goals and strategies.
Our counselors assist students in determining their interests, skills, job-related values and career goals. Your Career Counselor may suggest you take an “Interest Survey” to identify career fields that you might find satisfying.
Counselors help students prepare targeted resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews and develop a job or internship search strategy. Counselors also assist students with graduate school preparation.
Drop-In Counseling
Drop-ins will resume week of January 26th. Please email career.development@purchase.edu to schedule a career counseling appointment.
Students may meet with a counselor for a brief, ten-minute consultation if they do not need a full career counseling session.
Please note you may wait for up to 10 minutes if the counselor is with another student.
