Zoey Hawkins

Zoey Hawkins is double majoring in Creative Writing and English and Global Literatures. She will be presenting her senior project titled “Brooklyn Blues.” “Brooklyn Blues” is a work of literary fiction derived from her father’s experiences growing up in Brooklyn in the 60s and 70s. It is a coming of age story exploring religious trauma, mental illness, and forgiveness.
