Emma Eager

Emma Eager is a dual-degree student earning a BA in English and Global Literatures alongside a BFA in Painting and Drawing, with a minor in Art History. She will be presenting her senior project, titled “Transgressive Bodies, Transformed Souls: Reclaiming the Feminine Experience through the Contemporary Short Story.” Emma’s project analyzes works by contemporary authors Carmen Maria Machado and Silvia Moreno-Garcia, focusing on the reclamation of monstrous feminine identities through metaphorical and literal acts of transformation.
