Paola Anguiano

Paola Anguiano is a Journalism major. She will be presenting her senior project, titled “Broken Families: The Impact of Parental Deportation on Mexican Children.” Her project examines the living reality of Mexican children whose families have been separated by the deportation of a parent. Her long-form article blends together the anecdotal and emotional experiences of affected children with the psychological and legal frameworks that structure their lives.
