Zachary Ilg
Zachary Ilg is a English and Global Literatures Major. He will be presenting his senior project, titled “The ‘Monsters’ We Created: Artificial Life and Humanity in Literature.” The project explores examples of artificial life from Frankenstein, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, and Never Let Me Go, and analyzes them with the current day development and future of artificial intelligence in mind, as well as the historical mistreatment of marginalized groups. With this focus, the project asks the question: what really makes us human?
