Isabella Spence

Isabella Spence is an Art History major and Museum Studies minor. She will be presenting her senior project, “The Body of Black Fem Art: A Collagic Harvest of Wangechi Mutu and Lorna Simpson.” She explores the medium of collage as a vessel for resistance against anti-blackness and gender-based violence through the works of the artists Lorna Simpson and Wangechi Mutu.
