Juliana Giannasca ’21

Juliana is a teaching artist who is director and teacher at Voice with Jules and director of Musical Munchkins.

A Westchester County native raised in the Hudson Valley, Juliana discovered her passion for the performing arts at a young age.

She honed her craft by singing on a competitive voice team, performing in school musicals and plays, joining chamber choir, and participating in improv troupes.

It was during these formative years that she was inspired by her high school theatre teacher—a mentor who ignited her love for education and continues to influence her work today.

At Purchase, Juliana combined musical theatre and arts management in the BALA program.

She then completed her master’s degree in Educational Theatre at New York University and holds New York State teaching certifications in Theatre and Performing Arts.

She currently runs a performing arts studio Voice With Jules where she teaches voice and acting lessons. Her students participate in regional and national competitions, as well as local events.

Her studio consists of performers of all ages and abilities, even performers who work professionally and building careers in the arts.

In addition to running Voice with Jules, Juliana is the owner and director of Musical Munchkins, a beloved early childhood music program serving families throughout Westchester County.

Her mission is rooted in making music education accessible and joyful for students of all ages—from babies as young as six months to adults—helping each individual find their voice through creative expression.
