Elizabeth Baldino

Elizabeth Baldino is an English and Global Literatures major. She will be presenting her two-part senior project, “Lone Star.” Part one is a research paper delving into the controlled morality and literary tropes that influence player choice in video games as seen through the lens of the Western genre in Red Dead Redemption II, 1899 in America, and video game culture. Part two of the project is an independently produced text-based video game with an original soundtrack, art, script, and code written in the dark Western genre that explores mortality, religion, and choice.
