Curtis Brodner ’19

Curtis Brodner ’19 is an investigative reporter covering housing and affordability for The Jersey Vindicator and a corps member of Report for America, a non-profit newsroom dedicated to accountability and public service reporting at local news organizations.

After graduating from Purchase’s journalism program, Brodner covered breaking news and local government for New York media outlets, including 1010 WINS, WCBS 880, NewsBreak, and Bklyner.

Brodner earned a master’s degree at Columbia University, where he was a fellow at the Center for Investigative Journalism reporting on the criminal justice system for New York Focus. More recently, he worked as a research assistant for The New York Times columnist, Gail Collins.
