Samirath Mansah

Samirath Mansah studied at the University of Abomey-Calavi, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance Administration from Ecole Nationale d’Administatrion et de Magistrature.

Fluent in English and French, Mansah wears many hats. She collaborates as a data journalist with Ecofin Agency, a pan-African economic online media. Mansah is also a filmmaker. She clinched the top spot in the 2020 edition of the international contest 7 jours pour 1 Film (7 Days for 1 Film), marking her debut as a screenwriter and director. Her first short film Against All Odds was selected for several prestigious international festivals. Since then, she has been working on various cinematic projects. 

Mansah is passionate about art in general, human adventures, and is a deeply committed advocate of women’s rights and gender equality.
