Schadrac Akinocho

Schadrac Akinocho is passionate about creative writing, languages, reading, visual arts and the topic of education within the African context. He studied agricultural sciences at the University of Legon in Ghana.  

Over the past eight years, he has worked with various financial and economic media as a bilingual translator and journalist. These include Agence Ecofin, Togo First, and Business in Cameroon. He is also the founder of Bureau Africain de Traduction Spécialisée (BATS), a startup regrouping young translators and editors based in Benin and Ghana.  A few of the issues that Akinocho is passionate about include mental health, employment and the inclusion of youth and women, and their contribution to African development, and the continent’s image.
