Ross A. Daly

Associate Professor of Journalism

Life as a journalist has taken me everywhere from a small weekly newspaper in rural Minnesota to the capitals of Central Europe as communist governments crumbled. At Newsday, on Long Island, I was part of a team that won the Pulitzer Prize in 1997 for Spot News Reporting on the crash of TWA 800. Among the positions I held at Newsday were News Editor and National Editor. In 2007, I joined the journalism faculty at Purchase College.
