J.D. Zeik

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Screenwriting and Film

J.D. Zeik’s credits include his original screenplay, Ronin, starring Robert DeNiro; The Touch, with Michelle Yeoh; Pistol Whipped, with Steven Seagal; and the TV film (and subsequent series) Witchblade, on which he also served an executive producer. He has also worked with artists as varied as James Cameron, Alfonso Cuaron, and 50 Cent.  He is currently working on a thriller set in the South China Sea for Universal Studios and Imagine Entertainment.

Zeik graduated from Purchase College, where he started his writing career as a playwright. His plays have been produced in both New York and Los Angeles. He has taught screenwriting at Purchase College since the spring of 2000.
