Winnie Richards

Winnie Richards is a Literature and Creative Writing double-major. She will be presenting her senior project, titled “‘The Million Petaled Flower / Of Being Here’: Existence, Anxiety, and the Persistence of Beauty in Philip Larkin”. This project explores the poetry of Philip Larkin through the lens of philosophical existentialism in order to unearth and explore the hidden beauty and universality that persists inside of a body of work so deeply centered around anxiety, isolation, and death.
