My name is Chris Heffelfinger. I am a Lighting Designer in the NYC/Westchester Area.
I discovered using lights as a medium for art in my freshmen year of high school and I’ve been hooked ever since. Although my training is heavily in theater, I am interested to branch out into other aspects of entertainment to see how far my art can take me. Stay safe!
• The production was done in a 35’ by 50’ by 20’ black box theater.
• The theater contained a complete wire-rope tension grid.
> Majority of lights were focused through the grid.

Projects
Moving Light Project: Pink Floyd
For this project we had to program 2-3 minute light show for one song from a list of 3 artists that were randomly distributed to every student. After selecting Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine”, we had 5 hours total to program on the grandMA3.
Fashion Runway: The Perfect Day
Credit: Renderer: Chris HeffelfingerFor this project we had to design and draft a fashion show of our creating in our black box theater using a template runway. Above is one of the renderings done for my project depicting its third act: To the moon and back. This act’s lingerie comes from Victoria Secrets and it’s them is returning to bed from a night in the city.
