Hey! I’m Lena, a current senior at Purchase. I am a dancer also studying anthropology and global Black studies. I had the fortune and pleasure to participate in one of Purchase’s dance abroad programs in South Korea! As a creative, I believe in the power of art, specifically dance to ignite social change, using awareness to create work that has an impact on the consciousness of the individuals who see it. My cultural background and connections are varied, which plays a considerable role in my engagements. It is an honor to be a guide in the international programs department. My intention in being a part of this advisory board is to facilitate an equitable process, as well as growing a mindful ethos toward cultural experience and exchange.
