The dialogue is an extension of Rodney’s Hyperallergic article How to Embed a Shout: A New Generation of Black Artists Contends with Abstraction. The conversation was held in conjunction with the exhibition Romare Bearden: Abstraction curated by Tracy Fitzpatrick, Director of the Neuberger Museum of Art.
The exhibition was on view at the Neuberger through December 22, 2017.
