Yiyun Li

Yiyun Li is the author of six books of fiction, most recently the novel Must I Go, published in July by Random House, as well as the memoir Dear Friend, from My Life I Write to You in Your Life. Her 2019 novel, Where Reasons End, won the PEN/Jean Stein Award, was longlisted for the PEN/Faulkner Award, and was named one of the best books of the year by The New York Times, NPR, The Guardian, and The Paris Review. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, A Public Space, and The Best American Short Stories, among other places, and her many awards include a MacArthur Foundation fellowship and a Windham-Campbell Prize. She teaches at Princeton University.
