Why did you want to become a Global Scholar?

I wanted to become a Global Scholar because at the heart of global citizenship there is celebration of what makes us all unique. Since 2015, I have been involved in a variety of artistic programs serving the New Jersey and New York area. This experience has taught me first-hand how vital it is for accessible and inclusive environments to exist where people of all ages and backgrounds can express themselves, share their voice, collaborate, and be supported by their community. As a Global Scholar, I strive to be an active community member and I am inspired to continue my growth as an artist and student across the globe.
