As an instructor Chris Greco brings a multitude of experience to his classroom from a multifaceted career working in the sound and electronics industries.
His resume reads like a Who’s Who in the entertainment industry working with the likes of Ricky Martin, Natalie Merchant, Dee Snyder, Steven Tyler, Lester Chambers, Pete Seger, Tom Waits, Destiny’s Child, Elton John, Paul Simon, Beyonce, Queen Latifa, Jerry Seinfeld, Stevie Wonder, Idina Menzel, Hilary Clinton, Oprah, Martha Stewart, Maya Angelou, and more.
Chris’ studio management jobs included working in television facilities in New York City on The Maury Povich Show, The Daily Show with John Stewart, and The Montell Williams Show. He also has broad experience working with electronics, renting and supplying gear to television and production companies in NYC, mixing corporate shows for industry giants Scharff Weisberg, WorldStage and PRG, working with the Discovery Channel, Country Music Awards, The New Yorker Festival, The Michael Milton Foundation, The United Nations General Assembly, IBM, Chevron American Association of Advertisers, Coca Cola, McDonald’s and Burger King.
In addition to his professorial duties at SUNY Purchase, Chris continues to freelance and mix music in order to stay up to date with industry trends and to happily share his knowledge of live mixing and electronics with his students. He holds a degree in Electronics from Devry Institute of Technology.
