TLTC Brown Bag Lunch Conversations
This semester (Fall 2025), the TLTC is launching a new Brown Bag Lunch Series - a casual opportunity for faculty to come together, share experiences, and talk about teaching and learning. Each session will highlight a timely topic or pedagogical question, but the real focus will be on conversation, connection, and collegial exchange.
All are welcome to join! Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your ideas. These Brown Bag sessions will be on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 12:30pm in the TLTC Conference Room (LIB 0008A), with a Microsoft Teams option if needed (please indicate in your RSVP).
Our first two topics will be:
Can Students Use AI Agents to Do Their Brightspace Work?
AI agents are rapidly becoming more capable and accessible. We’ll take a look at what these tools can do, how they might impact our courses, and how instructors can respond as they become part of students’ learning environments.

Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Pedagogy
OERs provide low- or no-cost course materials that give faculty more flexibility in teaching - and new ways to engage students through open pedagogy projects. We’ll explore how to locate, adopt, and adapt OERs for your Brightspace courses.
