Announcing D2L Lumi Pro & Lumi Training for Faculty
SUNY is pleased to announce the system-wide rollout of D2L Lumi Pro, the generative AI capability within Brightspace. SUNY Online is offering free Lumi training opportunities to all faculty in late August and September.
The initial deployment of D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace focuses on creating workflow efficiencies for faculty by helping to generate quiz questions, discussion prompts, and assignment ideas. Additional functionality will be rolled out by D2L in the future to support students in achieving learning outcomes as well as provide data-driven insights to faculty and campus leaders.

About D2L Lumi Pro in Brightspace
D2L Lumi Pro for Brightspace consists of Lumi Question, Lumi Idea, Lumi Summary, and Lumi Study Support which allow you to generate quiz questions, assignment ideas, discussion ideas, content topic recommendations with an overall feedback message based on incorrect answers for submitted quiz attempt using AI technology to improve workflow efficiency. Remember to always review generated questions and content before making it available to students.
