backstory: Will you be here?

So…last time backstory went out concurrent with an opening I asked the question: “Are you here?”

And…I got some blowback from folks who said they hadn’t seen the invite.

But, here’s the thing: if you got this email, then you got that email. It’s all the same email system.

That said, and just to be on the safe side and because I feel conflict adverse about it, I’m sending this out early in the day today and asking, “Will you be here?” instead, so you all have time to change all of your plans and get over here.

The show, Janet Langsam: Improbable Feminist, is a retrospective of the artist’s works created in the 1960s and 1970s. It looks great, Janet has an incredible story to share, and I am so pleased that the Neuberger is the place where it’s being told.

The opening reception is from 5:30-7pm; remarks will be at 6:15pm.

This is going to be a fun night.
