Michelle Friedman ’11
Named 2019 CAEA Outstanding Art Museum Educator of the Year
Michelle Friedman ’11 (art history) began working at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT as an intern while attending Purchase College.
She rose to Head of Education and Academic Initiatives and was named 2019 Outstanding Art Museum Educator of the Year by the Connecticut Art Education Association (CAEA).
Friedman is now a preschool and lower school art teacher at Ridgefield Academy in North Salem, NY.
She was captain of swim team her senior year, during which the women’s team took first place at the Skyline Championships. She was also a recipient of the Leadership Award, and a scholar-athlete.
