Martyna Majok Wins Pulitzer
Frequent Lecturer takes Pulitzer Prize
A familiar face to Purchase College Playwriting and Screenwriting majors over the last several years, Martyna Majok has received the 2018 Pulitzer Prize in Drama for her play “Cost of Living.” Since 2014 Ms. Majok has taught as her schedule allowed as an Lecturer of Playwriting in the program. She is currently mentoring a Senior Project in playwriting at Purchase. “Thanks to our proximity to new York City, this is the kind of talent we are able to draw in our adjunct and full time faculty,” says Peggy Stafford, co-coordinator of the Playwriting & Screenwriting BA.
