Professor Elizabeth Guffey to Keynote at DH2017

Professor Guffey, director of the MA program in Modern and Contemporary Art and founding editor of the peer-review journal Design and Culture, will be a keynote speaker at the Digital Humanities conference in Montréal in August. The annual conference of the international Alliance of Digital Humanities Organization (ADHO) has been held in various cities around the world since 1989. This year, it is co-organized by McGill University and the Université de Montréal, and will consist of a four-day event from August 8-11, 2017. Professor Guffey will give a 90-minute talk on Friday, August 11th on the campus of McGill University. A renowned scholar in design history, Professor Guffey’s latest work examines issues of disability and access – access being the theme of DH2017. Her upcoming book, Designing Disability: Spaces, Symbols and Society, will be released later this year.
