Double Major (BA and BS Programs)

Students in a BA or BS program who seek a double major may do so by meeting the following requirements:

  1. The student must designate a primary major.
  2. All General Education and college-wide requirements must be completed.
  3. All program requirements for both majors must be completed satisfactorily. Note that in some cases a student may be required to complete more than 120 credits to obtain their degree.
  4. Complete one Senior Project or Capstone, approved by both departments.
  5. Upon completion of all requirements the student will be granted one degree with two majors noted on the transcript.

Students may complete a maximum of two majors within any single degree program (e.g. BA, BFA). Students pursuing two bachelor’s degrees simultaneously (e.g., a BA and a BS or a BS and a BFA) should refer to the Dual Degree Policy.
