A student may earn two different bachelors degrees simultaneously (BA, BS, BFA, MusB). These dual degrees will be awarded at the same time upon completion of all coursework for both degrees.

Students who plan to receive two bachelor’s degrees from Purchase College must satisfy the academic requirements for each degree and major.  

A minimum of 30 credits of additional work is required when a student pursues a dual degree. Students must complete a minimum of 150 credits in order to be eligible for a dual degree.

BFA and MusB students must meet the liberal arts credit requirement for a BA (90 credits) or BS (60 credits); liberal arts credits earned toward the BFA or MusB may count toward this requirement.

Students may complete a maximum of two majors within any single degree program (e.g. BA, BFA).
