Westchester Community College (WCC) Transfer Scholarship
These awards recognize academic achievement and help make your transition to Purchase College more affordable. Students joining the School of the Arts will be awarded scholarships based on their audition, interview, or portfolio.
Award Amount
• $1,000
Eligibility
- Transfer students applying to LAS programs (Excludes BFA, MusB, Creative Writing BS, and the Visual Arts BS degree programs, which provide talent scholarships.)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Accepted as a new student for fall 2026 only
- Review the institutional eligibility and criteria requirements for more information.
- Transfer students can only qualify for one transfer scholarship.
- A limited number of awards are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How to Apply
- All transfer applicants are automatically considered when they submit their final transcripts showing conferral of AS degree.
- No additional scholarship form is required.
Deadline
Apply for admission by June 1, 2026, to be considered for the scholarship.
Notification
Scholarship awards will be communicated on or before July 1.
