Transfer

Purchase College offers Transfer Scholarships for students joining the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS).

These awards recognize academic achievement and help make your transition to Purchase College more affordable. Students joining the School of the Arts will be awarded scholarships based on their audition, interview, or portfolio.

Award Amount

• $1,000

Eligibility

  • Transfer students applying to LAS programs (excludes BFA and MusB programs)
  • Must meet one of the following:
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, or
    • Associate’s degree from Westchester Community College with a GPA of 2.6 or higher
    • Accepted as a new student for fall 2026 only
  • Review the institutional eligibility and criteria requirements for more information. 

How to Apply

  • All transfer applicants are automatically considered when they submit their application for admission.
  • Final transcripts may be required to show AS degree conferral.
  • No additional scholarship form is required.

Deadline

Apply for admission by April 1, 2026, to be considered for the scholarship.

Notification

Scholarship awards will be communicated on or before April 15.
