  • Hey there! My name is Ella Slomba. I am now a junior double majoring in Photography and Journalism. I came to Purchase from Buffalo, NY to pursue my work in the arts outside a close-knit city-town. I have learned so much coming here and being given the opportunity to immerse myself in such a different environment. Purchase has allowed me to see all the growth and potential I have made and how far I can go. On campus I have worked with The Beat Magazine, joined Photography Club (’23-’24), and The Black Student Collective. This year I cannot wait to do more on campus whether it be writing or taking photos, I will hopefully create more exposure for myself. In the meantime, I am working at The Learning Center to help those any way I can.
