Career Counseling/Coaching
Career Counselors/Coaches meet with students to explore majors and careers and help to set career goals and offer strategies for planning. They work together to assess interests, career competencies and skills, and job-related values, set career goals, prepare a targeted resume and cover letter, and develop opportunity search strategies.
Career Search Tools
View tools and resources including researching careers, including our Purchase Alumni Mentor Network and CandidCareer. We also offer assessments that can further support your career planning and decision making.
Searching for Opportunities
The Career Center can assist students with searching for short-term, part-time, freelance, internship and full time opportunities. A place to start is on Purchase JobScore, our job and internship platform.
Events and Employer Visits
Our events are open to all students and alumni and include professional development workshops, guest speakers, interview practice, skill building, employer visits, and more. We also host two Career Fairs a year. Follow us on Instagram to stay up-to-date on our programs and events.
Academic Internships
All students are encouraged to complete internships while they are at Purchase College; with some majors requiring internship. Learn more about the internship program, student guidelines, and support for internships.
