Why did you want to become a Global Scholar?
From an early age I have been aware of the differences we all have. My experience in a Montessori School and as a Model UN participant has exposed me to many distinct beliefs, values, and customs. From our physical features to the nuances in our cultures, our lives as individuals affect our society as a whole. While many try to impose their own standards on the world, there is a beauty in individuality that I am so grateful to have recognized. Becoming a Global Scholar was the perfect way to build a community of voices with a similar mission, to uplift others. I wanted to be a part of a program that aims to create real impact, something I’ve longed strived to do. I am excited to participate in projects that takes our world one step closer to accepted diversity.
