Why did you want to become a Global Scholar?

I wanted to become a Global Scholar because culture is an extremely important aspect of my life. I love to share my culture with those around me and learn about the cultures of others in return. Culture is a vital part of who we are as humans and sharing those special parts of us with the world fosters growth as a community on a global scale. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to expand my understanding of other cultures through the Global Scholars Program.
