Nathan Patton is an award-winning writer from the rural South. He studied film at University of Texas at Austin, where he also received a James A. Michener Fellowship and an MFA in Writing.

His works have been published in various journals, including McSweeney’s Internet Tendency and The Malahat Review. Three of his most recent screenplays have directors and/or producers attached. Some of his accolades include winning the PAGE International Screenplay Competition, Script Pipeline, Broadcast Education Association, and the Norman Lear Blue Sky Fellowship.
