Summer in Turkey

This 3-week summer course combines study and international internship experience in Istanbul.

Engaging with local partners including faculty and students at Istanbul Bilgi University and the Pera Museum, students of all majors explore the audience’s active role as participatory and receptive agents of arts and culture. 

Students will gain hands-on pre-professional experience by training in museum visitor research, and conduct a visitor survey at the Pera Museum.

While in Istanbul, students will stay at a hotel in a shared room which includes breakfast. Three group meals are included while onsite. Group excursions include: Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Maiden’s Tower, and an Asian side tour.
