What is your motivation to succeed?

I am motivated by a deep curiosity and intuition about the world, as well as a desire to understand the nature of humanity. I am particularly drawn to creativity and am passionate about exploring my diverse interests in a way that brings me fulfillment and makes me happy, especially when I am engaged in my studies. :)

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I really love music, theater, strawberries and cats!

What are your long-term goals?

I really want to focus and finish my two majors on time and successfully <3 and study abroad some day or move somewhere that makes me happy :) I just want to live a life.

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

Not many are aware, but I almost did not have the opportunity to join EOP. Dorming and being on my own at school would be challenging. EOP allows me to actually be a student, feel okay and feel grounded because of their amazing support system through counseling and resources the program has to offer, like having a tutor every semester! Or receiving unexpected grants when you need them most. There are so many things to worry about as a college student and you can feel so alone but being an EOP student makes everything easier and you are able to concentrate in going to school because you don’t have all this heavy weight on your back.

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

My most invaluable experience at Purchase has been learning from my mistakes and feeling empowered when I set my mind to things. While Purchase may not be my favorite place, I have experienced significant personal growth here and have found a sense of grounding and contentment. The fall season, with its promise of new beginnings, allows me to shape my own narrative, relax and be a student with a lighter weight on my back.
