Daniel Bravo Hernández
Daniel Bravo Hernández is a Mexican-Dominican actor from NYC.
Born and raised in NYC, Daniel Bravo Hernández had no interest in going to college until he met Conservatory Alumnus Brian D. Hills (’05). He was convinced to join the Police Athletic League: Acting Program where he learned that his passion for the arts could be a tangible career.
After being accepted into the Purchase Acting Conservatory he embarked on a 4 year journey of fighting between the immigrant dream his parents instilled in him and his vision for the future. Daniel knew he wanted to be an actor and has fought tooth and nail to pursue it.
His Purchase Repertoire roles include Val Xavier in Orpheus Descending, Stage Manager in Our Town, and Bassianus in Titus Andronicus. His professional credits consist of Timothy in The Mannequin Diaries, and Isaiah in HBO Max’s Project Green Light.
“Todo pasa por algo” is something his mother constantly says to him. Daniel believes it, he’s made it this far, it must be “por algo.”
