All about Emma

Emma Steen is a native New Yorker with a background in early childhood music education. She feels strongly about providing equitable, forward-looking education to everyone, and believes Purchase is the place to be to make that happen.

Emma received both her Bachelor’s and her Master’s in Music Composition from Purchase, and has since written music for several films and performed at venues and festivals all over the country.

Fun Fact:

Emma plays eight instruments, and can wiggle her ears.
