Samantha Tutasi
Samantha Tutasi is a BIPOC New York based set designer from Beacon, NY. She was first introduced to theatre through acting and dance, and moved into design and painting once in college. Of all the art forms, Samantha was most drawn to set design because of her desire to be able to conceptualize and create complex worlds that people can interact with and learn from. As an artist she aspires to develop environments that can fully capture the essence of the story in all aspects that the audience will interact with, and for people of all walks of life to be able to have their own individual experiences of these environments that is unique to the way each person’s mind takes in visual information and emotionally bonds with the spaces she creates.
