John Hartmann

John Hartmann is from Kenilworth, New Jersey. He has been surrounded by theatre and the arts for a majority of his life.  He continues to find new things about himself and his work that inspire audiences and even his next creative work to be better than the last. John’s ability to tell a story with his chosen medium is truly what keeps him excited and full of passion and love for this career.

John has worked on countless productions over his four years at Purchase. Some of his works that he is most proud of are Radio City Christmas Spectacular(Lighting Design Intern), Carnegie Hall Symphony Orchestra(Assistant Lighting Designer), Eric D’Alessandro at NJPAC(Lighting Designer), and his most recent work Henry the IV Part One(Lighting Designer), at Purchase College.
