Eric Mandelbaum
Visiting Assistant Professor of Screenwriting
Eric Mandelbaum has taught screenwriting at Purchase College since 2002. His professional writing credits can be found on films and series that have aired on the Discovery Channel, National Geographic, TBS, PBS, Cinemax, and Lifetime. Mandelbaum wrote and directed Roberta (1999), which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and won a special award for directing at the Stony Brook Film Festival.
Mandelbaum has also taught film history classes at Adelphi University since 2009. He was a regional judge for the Student Academy Awards from 1999 through 2003.
