Sara Cooper

Lecturer in Playwriting

Sara Cooper is a New York–based playwright and lyricist. She is a member of ASCAP and the Dramatists Guild of America.

Cooper received her BFA in dramatic writing and her MFA in musical theatre writing at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Sara’s favorite teaching credits include New York University, Montclair State University, Purchase College, Theater for the New City, CUNY Guttman Community College, and Lincoln Center.
