Noriko Okada

Noriko Okada received her Bachelors degree from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan where she majored in Aesthetics and Art Theory. She chose the Purchase College MA Program because it offered a dual degree program where students can get a MA in Art History and a MFA in Visual Arts. She is interested in Asian American Artists in the United States, the role of museums in the art work, and the roles that archives play in Art History. She would love to continue her academic exploration for the rest of her life and can give you a glimpse of her interesting experiences by reading her MFA Thesis.
