What has the pandemic brought out in us? It has made a greater division than expected in my perspective. The veil has started to peel away, and the pressures of this virus have shown the true colors of the American people. With photographic influences from Walker Evans and Robert Frank, the series takes the viewer on a journey through a subsection of America and the ideals which we as a country seem to value. During the world’s first major pandemic in a hundred years, the work asks to reflect on what we hold close. Are we headed in the best direction for the future generations? Are those with power setting the right examples for the common man?
