Alan Dorsey

Alan Dorsey is a woodworker in Brooklyn, NY. He started making custom furniture and cabinetry in 2002, and has been woodturning since 2008. Today he focuses on woodturning for a variety of clients in the NYC area including lighting designers, custom furniture makers, and architects/contractors needing reproduction parts for Brownstone renovations. Teaching is also a vital part of his practice, and he has been leading woodturning classes at Makeville Studio in Brooklyn since 2014.
