Nicole Eskandar (she/her)

Learning Specialist, Cornerstone Program

Nicole Eskandar is a Learning Specialist for the Cornerstone Program within the Office of Disability Resources at Purchase College. As a Learning Specialist, she works directly with students who identify as being on the Autism Spectrum. In addition, she serves as a liaison for Cornerstone students and faculty members.

Nicole has her Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Consumer Economics and her Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Long Island University. Her experience in the public school setting includes administering psychoeducational evaluations and employing various interventions including Trauma-Informed Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. Her background incorporates individual counseling, group sessions, and family consultation.

In addition to enjoying the outdoors, yoga, dance, and foods from around the world, Nicole savors time spent with her husband, three children, and Rio, their dog.
