Travess Smalley is a New York-based artist who uses technology as a means to move drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture into and out of the digital realm.
More About Me
He is interested in how code and systems can construct, transfer, and disrupt images. Born in Huntington, West Virigina, Smalley studied painting at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his BFA from the Cooper Union in 2010. His works have appeared in exhibitions at the International Center of Photography, Kunsthal Rotterdam, Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit and is included in the collections of High Museum of Art and the Hood Museum.
